Ohhh! The phone itself is Mono?! Okay, than that's fine. I WAS aware 
of the trick of duplicating the mono as Left + Right on the tracks 
and that mocks stereo. It was just that I have a stereo tape recorder 
and I always thought I lost a signal because I have been taping in 
mono all this time.

Thanks. The audio is just going to become a narration device for a 
slideshow project.
