[MacDV] MS DV/AVI

So I've been working on this video and have it completed in iMovie. The IT
people in the faculty want it as an MS DV/AVI file which they compress into
different sizes and serve to internet users depending on their bandwidth.
I've exported it as a full quality DV from iMovie which I then import to
Premier on a PC. Premier can open the file and play it just fine. Small test
file I made convert in Premier to MS DV/AVI just fine but the entire video
(15GB) makes Premier crash every single time. Is there a Mac solution to
making a MS DV/AVI file? The Mac DV doesn't play in Windows Media player.
