I have used a Radio Shack Bulk Eraser in the past for audio-cassettes
and also a few times for mini-DV tapes with a complete satisfaction.
The Radio Shack model # is 44-233 and according to the following web
page, is still available, I believe for around $37.

Beats buying a new tape every time I want to tape a short clip.

Rauno.
