I thought it was impossible to print photojpeg to tape from FCP, but I could be wrong. I think that when you save as a photjpeg file that you are saving each frame as a separate jpeg image, right? which creates a humongous size file in one folder. I hope this helps a bit - I've got to review FCP and DVDSP options before I can say more.
