Ahh Hahhh ! This button does change. That might be the ticket !
I will find out with the next capture.

I have already done this as a matter of course, But it really doesn't  
say stereo, 48k two channel on the capture preset, and then stereo  
mix on the sequence preset.

It is possible that you have solved my problem, though.
