[MacDV] Disk image

I am running OS 10.4.7. I made a movie in imovie and burned it to a  
dvd with idvd. This disk works fine when played on the computer or  
dvd player. I no longer have the original movie and want to make a  
copy. I tried disk utility which made a disk image. First it creates  
a download manager folder which when opened should give me the movie  
but all I see are the Video ts and audio ts folders. What am I doing  
wrong.
