For export to DVD Studio Pro, you want to use Mpeg2, otherwise you  
are dooming your footage to double encoding.
You have too consider your run time, menu requirements and size of a  
given (single/double layer) DVD and take a
little time adjusting the data rate accordingly.
You can use compressor to do this or "export using quicktime  
conversion" choose mpeg2 and use all the options available right  
there from the export panel.
