[MacDV] FCP : Rendering Problems.

I am using the latest version of FCP on an intel Mac Desktop.

Despite rendering and saving  before closing a Project, the next time  
I open it much of the content requires re-rendering.  I don't recall  
having this problem with FCP 5 and earlier versions.

The only thing I know I am doing different is  using  the "smooth  
cam" filter for some clips, but I have been rendering these and  
saving  before closing the Project.

Any suggestions please before I go around the bend!
