I can easily upgrade this machine to 2 GB ram. You're probably right that it is the RAM that's causing the sluggishness. Actually, upgrading the memory in a mini is not all that bad. My wife bought one with minimum memory and I, using the instructions from a web site, opened the box up and upgraded the memory to 2GB. Rich
