You usually get that error message when the plug-in isn't compatible  
with your computer AND the operating system version. Sounds like  
you've got an Intel Mac now. Try the latest (universal) version at  
http://www.imovieplugins.com/plugs/minify.html.

On opening iMovie 6.0.3 on the iMac, I get a succession of error
messages:
"Something is wrong with the plug-in Minify etc., etc., "
iMovie has also crashed a couple of times.

Can anyone tell me what the problem is?
