[MacDV] Sony DCR-SR80 - mic input

I'm looking at the new hard drive Sony cameras, but being in the  
Virgin Islands, can only look online :-) I'm looking for one that has  
a mic input as we are doing interviews with a wireless lavalier mic.  
Some places it seems to say this model has a mic input but then it  
sounds like that is only through the hot shoe???? Anyone know of a  
model that has the actual input for a mic cable?????
