[MacDV] Capturing Video to External Drives

 I have captured successfully to a USB 2 drive but then I never had any trouble daisy chaining a firewire drive with the camcorder.  From what I understand the portable and iMac computers with two firewire 400 it is only a hub so the second connection does not actually increase bandwidth.
