[MacDV] Imovie problems

I recently installed ilife 08 but created a movie with imovie hd  
6.0.3. When I tried to share it with idvd I got an error message that  
it couldn't be rendered because idvd wasn't installed properly or I  
may not have project disk permission or not enough disk space. I  
reinstalled idvd, checked permissions and have lots of disk space. I  
am running os 10.4.11 on a 2ghz intel core 2 duo. Any suggestions
