To give the answer itself is negative reinforcement and this will happen again :) (Just a personal observation.) Not being mean, just observant. When looking into this, be aware, setting Safari as the preferred browser in Mail will likely mean setting Safari as the preferred browser for your Mac in general. So as a hint, check out Safari too.
