[MacDV] iphoto images on digital picture frame

I got this Trutech digital picture frame for Christmas.  I loaded  
pics from my Imac Iphoto files but when played on the digital picture  
frame they appear stretched (it has no menu option for make a  
change).  I know it has something to do with the aspect ratio but I'm  
not a techy and just don't know how to fix it.  Is there a way to  
correct this problem without get some additional software on my Imac?
