Steven:
You offer excellent advice. One of my biggest regrets is I didn't do this a long time ago. It is something I am now unable to do as both of my parents are deceased. My son lives in Colorado, my daughter lives in Wisconsin, and my sister also doesn't live close. I live in Texas.
Copying the film brought back a lot of memories and raised questions to which I don't know or can't remember the answers. My Dad, in particular, would have been the source of many stories as he learned to fly in 1927 and retired in 1966 after 32 years with American Airlines.
I urge those who have family history to preserve to start interviewing family members ASAP while they are still available to contribute.
Regards
Maurice
