<div><font face="Geneva" size="-1" color="#000000">Linda, that Guitar
Center deal sounds pretty good. I don't think USB latency would be a
problem for voice overs since this is all I need this for. XLR imputs
would be nice, but I really don't need them. If I need music stuff I
will just use my friends fancy Protools setup (and I do mean
fancy).</font></div>

<div><font face="Geneva" size="-1" color="#000000">KathyMac! thanks
for your thoughts. I'm just going to try either using one of my
sennheiser shotgun mikes or purchasing another mic based on some of
the suggestions from James, Joey, Jeff and others.</font></div>

<div><font face="Geneva" size="-1" color="#000000">From what I've read
the iMic's usage of USB isolates the sound better than the small mic
input on my mac. (better output quality as well so people have
said)</font></div>

<div><font face="Geneva" size="-1" color="#000000">Oh, BTW APPLE is
rumored to be releasing some sort of Hardware device around Macworld
in January (maybe) that will have XLR inputs and compete with M-Box
and others in the analog input arena. Their price point is supposed to
be fantastic too. Too bad I cannot wait for this.</font></div>
