<div>Well, Gordon may have something here. The delay is DEFINITELY
BEFORE LOGIN; that is, it's still on the Apple gray screen with the
little sprocket spinning around that takes so long. Does this mean I
have to reinstall?</div>
<div><br></div>
<div>This is the computer I don't have Tiger on yet. So, it's time,
perhaps, for Tiger. Question: should I do a clean install? If so, what
are all the items that have to be transferred? And can they be
transferred all at once?</div>
<div><br></div>
<div>Thanks, mates,</div>

Looking back at the original message, the OP wasn't specific about
where the delay was occuring.<br>

SnapZ Pro does put itself into the Login Items list so that it is<br>
always available. It would slow boot-up to the extent that
it takes<br>
it to load and you should see the start-up logo screen everytime
you<br>
boot up. You can choose to remove it from the Login Items list
