[MacGPS] iBook GPS Options

Are there any decent GPS hardware and software solutions available that 
would work well with my 900mhz G3 iBook running MacOS X 10.3.5? I've 
always wanted a nice mapping program that GPS hardware could be used to 
plot my current location, but my research so far shows that options are 
very limited to almost non-existent on the Mac. If someone on this list 
has a solution that they like, please share.
