[MacGPS] DeLorme w/iBook ^4

Help!

I have installed Classic (9.2.1) on a G4 iBook, OS 10.3.9. I have also installed Street Atlas 6.0 for Mac.

When I launch Street Atlas, Classic starts up as expected, and the app launches w/o problems. However, when I attempt to <initialize GPS>, I get "There are no serial ports available." I have the deLorme Hyperformance GPS receiver with deLorme serial-to-USB adapter. 

Any suggestions of how to get the app to look for a USB port rather than serial?
