Tried both ATI's install CD and the 10/02 update. same problem with both. Some games have problem in both 9 and X. Jedi Knight 2 (carbon plays in either) for example. Someone else mentioned the Quicktime 6.1 as a possible cause. I do remember it as being a cause of a lot of quirks.
