Good microphone?

I'd like to get a decent microphone (like around $100) for use in mostly
home use, such as recording people singing, playing the guitar, perhaps
piano, narrating digital video, etc.  I will be plugging it into a
camcorder sometimes.  Other times I will plug it into a USB
analog-to-digital converter (Onkyo USB device) for capture on an iBook. 
It needs to be stereo.  Small would be nice but not essential.

Any recommendations?
