USB2 Support?

Is there a way to tap into USB2 speeds?  Specifically; is there a PCMIA card 
that I could put into my laptop for USB2?  THere seem to be so many 
peripherals going that route that I'd like to have that option on top of 
FireWire.  Thanks.
