OK, I'm having brain-freeze on the one you're talking about (and I'm sure I'll want to kick myself when I hear what you say...) But I'm thinking (with Randy Bachman still in mind) of the Guess Who's "American Woman". There's the two "lead-in" notes that sort of "imply" chords... but it's really a one-chord song, don't you think? (Ah, the depths of our probing intellectual curiosities...) Gene Bogart
