Latency and iBook

Hi there,

Does anyone experience latency with Logic Audio and VST instruments from a
keyboard?

I'm using a 600mhz 128mb RAM with Virtual Memory on (I know its bad!), but
I'm not really convinced that adding more RAM will get rid of the latency?

Any ideas?
