Amplitube with Pro Tools

Hi, thanks for taking the time to read this


Just got my digital download of the Stand Alone version of Amplitube. Hoping to use it to get
great sounds out of my powerbook so I do not have to carry around a bunch of amps and processors. 
 My problem is I thought Stand Alone meant just that. I am seeing on the IK Multimedia site that
you cannot run amplitube without Protools or logic or...   I cannot get the software to work live
at all much less stand alone. It always wants me to highlight  some audio so it can process it. I
am using an Mbox with the G4 Powerbook. I cannot figure out how to play this thing live. Any help
out there? I am waiting for IK  to call me back. Something tells me it will be next week before
they call. Phil
