Rick I'm wondering how easy it'll be to create "apple loops" for Soundtrack and Garage Band. Could be a biz opportunity to market your drum loops. Also the question has come up of how many of the "apple loops" are shared with Soundtrack. I know of at least one recent Soundtrack purchaser who is pissed with today's announcements. -- Jay Shaffer Mac Audio Guy mag at macaudioguy.com http://macaudioguy.com/ On Jan 6, 2004, at 1:31 PM, Rick Latham wrote: > Hi Jay, > > Not sure of the specs but yes this looks pretty cool to me also....... > > Just wondering if any of you folks will be at the NAMM show next week. > > I'll be around hangin at the DW, Pro-Mark, Evans and Istanbul booths. > Hope > to meet some of you there. > > Also, just wanted to let you know that I'm extending my special offer > on my > drum loop sampling CD available for 50% off for anyone interested > > http://www.ricklatham.com/cd.htm > > All the best for now and hope to see you at NAMM > > Rick > > Rick Latham Publishing Company > RLP Records > Ph: 818-989-0112 > Fx: 818-989-0502 > > http://www.ricklatham.com >> From: Jay Shaffer <jshaf at jayshaffer.com> >> Reply-To: "Mac Pro Audio List" <MacProAudio at lists.themacintoshguy.com> >> Date: Tue, 6 Jan 2004 13:08:57 -0700 >> To: "Mac Pro Audio List" <MacProAudio at lists.themacintoshguy.com> >> Subject: [MPA] Garage Band...whoa! >> >> Well, Apple has certainly laid down the gauntlet with Garage Band, for >> $49 it's a pretty impressive package.
