Frank, Here are a couple of the simplest: http://www.zzounds.com/item--MTU2256 http://www.zzounds.com/item--MDOUNO (I'm not necessarily recommending zzounds, I'm only using it for reference. ) More expensive interfaces don't provide better performance, but more options. Things to consider: If you anticipate having more MIDI devices you may want to have more ports (ins and outs). Here's an example: http://www.zzounds.com/item--MTUMICROLITE Do you want to move audio as well as midi in and out of your computer? (hook up a microphone and sing?) This USB interface is one of the simplest that does both: http://www.zzounds.com/item--MDOAPUSB although there are others. More advanced features in an interface are the ability to sync with other external equipment such as various multitrack recorders and video. What about software, what do you plan to use? This is a good starter package: http://www.intuem.com/main.html Best of luck, Scott On Wednesday, January 21, 2004, at 05:45 AM, MacPro wrote: > All > since I have a MIDI capable keyboard what device would you recommend to > use to hook it up to my Mac?
