That's a different format from DVD-Video and DVD-R for data backup. DVD-Audio lets you include audio in many different bit resolutions, sample rates, and formats... for instance, you could have a 24-bit, 192 kHz stereo version of your master, a 16/44.1 Red Book CD-audio version, a 5- or 6-channel surround version at 24/48 or 24/96, and minimal video/still photos, depending upon how many gigabytes your masters total (roughly limited to about 4.4 GB until DVD-9 and DVD-18 comes our way).
