I've used PT Free for some time bow, and it is a pain to switch into 9 to use it. That being said, what does anyone think of GarageBand? It is mainly for MIDI, or is there "basic" music editing features - I like the ability to cut an paste with PT Free, etc... And also, I like being able to adjust the volume on a track by track basis, something I haven't seen in GarageBand (yes, you can turn a track's volume up and down, but you cannot adjust a portion of pne track up or down).
