[MPA] Logic Ex./ USB Mic

Using Logic Express however I cannot get it to
recognize my new Samson CO1U USB mic.   GarageBand
will.  I have the sound input pref.  and the audio/
midi utility set to the Samson?

What am I doing wrong?
