This offer seems to be too good to be true. A reasonably accurate system for moving from recorded speech to text would be a huge advance for voice recognition solutions for the mac. There has been considerable discussion on this list about how this is not yet possible, except at a level far below what would be acceptable. So is this represent a change to that? Can anyone who has actually used the system described below tell me (and others) how well it works? >Hi all, > >For the iListen users out there, or those considering a move to iListen you >may be interested in a Special Offer we've put together for out iListen >Transcription Solution. > >Best Regards, > >Donald > >*** > > > >Save $100 with MacSpeech's New Transcription Solution! > >FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE > >Salem, NH, April 14th, 2003 - MacSpeech, Inc., the Speech Recognition >authority for the Mac, today released details of a New Transcription >Solution at a $100.00 savings. > >The iListen Transcription Solution includes the latest release of iListen, >Griffin Technologies iMic USB Adapter, VXi Parrot Translator >Microphone/Headset and the Olympus DS-2000 Digital Voice Recorder* (* >refurbished).
