Correct.

Pressing "create phonetic" creates a phonetic based on what you typed in the
"what you say" box. This is fine for *most* cases. However, when manually
editing a phonetic you want that box ignored--so you should not press that
button.

Pressing "set phonetic" tells iListen to use the manually or automatically
created phonetic and is always necessary.
