Alex,
Thanks for your feedback. I have made some changes to my system based on
recommendations from this listserve. I have reinstalled Jaguar, reinstalled
VV, applied all upgrades to Jaguar and VV, purchased a new headphone setup (VXI
Talkpro Xpress with the Andrea USB Pod), run disk repair and repaired
permissions. The correct microphone is selected in sound input in preferences.
I still can't get the Voice Center or Speakpad to work. I can run Voice Setup
ok but I can't transition to the Speakpad after the initial voice training. I
don't think it's the mic since VV does recognize my voice in the set up
process. I was originally using the headset that came with VV. The new
headset made no difference. I can't figure it out.
