Dear Kerry; I am successfully using a Sennheiser e845s hand-held microphone on a boom on my Macintosh G5 with iListen 1.6.5. You will save a significant amount of money with not much drop off in quality from the upper end Sennheiser microphone. I do find that I need to keep it a little further away from my mouth than when I used it with dragon naturally speaking on the PC. I did not have good results with the fleximic, but it may be my particular setup. For what it's worth, I do use an Andrea USB sound pod as my interface. Good luck!
