Jonathan (and everyone else): I did a little digging and those who are more familiar with using DNS than I say that the trade off for using commands embedded in dictation mode is that the commands tend to be very carefully worded - and not always very intuitive - in order to insure they are not mis- recognized as dictation. (I alluded to this in an earlier email, but have since had it confirmed by others.) Having a command mode means that the command name itself can be much more natural and easier to remember. As I said, you can always say "One Shot Command" which throws you into Command mode for one command, and then immediately takes you back to Dictation mode.
