[MV] Microphone question

According to Dictate, I have very soft voice (which is news to me).   
My voice is also of pretty low frequency, which may be part of the  
problem.  I've been trying to use a Telex H-841 but really have to  
raise my voice to get it to work.

I've read about some of the other microphones that are new and highly  
rated.  Does anyone know what the frequency response of these are?
