Macspeech dictate vs Scribe

I am new here so greetings all! 

I am about to buy a speech to text software, having just finished upgrading OS to 10.6.2. I would love to get some info/opinions as to which of these two seems the better investment as I am poor, lol, and cannot afford both. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

I am writing for several blogs and want to speak -type as well as possibly be able to transcribe already recorded audio notes/memos
