Joe, just curious are you using MacSpeech Dictate or DragonDictate? Anyse, what software & version number are you using? BTW Anyse, when I first tried to type in your name my iPad tried to auto corrected it to "A nyse". I over-road the auto correct & the next time it auto- corrected to the corrected spelling. I had some fantasy names that just wouldn't be recognized correctly no matter how many times I corrected MacSpeech Dictate. But once I could call them up in the vocabulary editor and select those names for additional training, they started working reliably. > > Joe > > On Jan 16, 2011, at 8:05 PM, Anyse Joslin wrote: > >> Hello, my name is Anyse. It is pronounced like "a niece." Well, I get Denise, a niece and anything but "Anyse" in "TRAINING" this program. I am wondering if I should have some strange Russian word to use to say my own name in this program so that it will come up. However, I use inflection that is quite different than that used with "a niece" or "a Nice." Yet, it will not work. Any ideas? >> >> Anyse >> _______________________________________________ >> MacVoice mailing list >> MacVoice at listserver.themacintoshguy.com >> http://listserver.themacintoshguy.com/mailman/listinfo/macvoice > > _______________________________________________ > MacVoice mailing list > MacVoice at listserver.themacintoshguy.com > http://listserver.themacintoshguy.com/mailman/listinfo/macvoice
