Arnie,

You 're likely new to this list and MacSpeech. A Macspeech "Founder" is NOT an owner or an investor in MacSpeech. When MacSpeech first started out, it's owners asked the Mac community for support, and those who gave $100 got a "Founders' T Shirt" as well as discounts in subsequent upgrades. I too am one of those "Founders", and would be of no more help to you than poor Bob "Founder" would be.

As for Randy's mention of Chuck's Departure - this is Chuck's THIRD departure from MacSpeech, and I have NO idea what led to it this time (nor as to what the issue was in the past 2...). MacSpeech is NOT a large company, but it's the only one dealing with Speech Recognition on the Mac Platform. I still wish it all the best, and hope that they "fly right" and concentrate on Speech Recognition and not on angry word exchanges.

Best,

Henry

On 01/09/2008, at 12:53 PM, Arnie Rosner wrote:
<BR class=Apple-interchange-new
