IBM/Hitachi Drives have a 3 year warranty. At least on the drives I 
bought a couple of years back. Can't say for anything more recent.

Check Hitachi's site. You can even check on your specific drive by 
inputing the serial number. It will tell you just how much more time 
you have to send it back.
