It seems like the logical place to me to discuss powerbook replacements. I have a macbook pro.I just upgraded from a 12" powerbook 867. The greatest heat seems to come while using and charging the macbook pro at the same time. if it is plugged in and the battery is charged no worries. If it is running from the battery no worries. However if it is charging while you are using it it is hot as hell. The pro should handle the heat significantly better because of the cooling properties of aluminum. That plastic is just too insulating.
