Glad I could help (even if just to some extent). Apple actually say  
that if you have a number of base stations, it's best to connect them  
through ethernet together, configure them, including setting passwords  
and access limits,  and then change them them to the wireless  
settings. Same goes for things like IP cameras and other wired/ 
wireless devices.
