Different versions of PB Battery's

Greetings list mates-

Would anyone know if there are differences in PB batteries. I bought an
extra one when I had my 500Ti, and now have an 800... Is there any way to
determine if there are differences? (ie serial numbers, etc?). One seems to
last longer than the other, by about an hour. Would there be any difference
if I charged them with the new (white) poweradapter for the 800, vs charging
with the old yo-yo adapter?

I just assumed, that all of the PB batteries were the same, until I started
reading some of the posts.
