What is wrong w/ my copy of iChat? i have a cleanly installed osx.2.2 combo-update i installed os x.2.2 completely fresh iChat has lost it's mind... i see my 'buddies' come and go... they can see me... they can IM me... IChat will NOT allow me to put the cursor in the text input field... and it will NOT let me type in it either... i just get a system warning 'bell' for each keystroke... i tried sending just an emoticon and i get a crazy error dialoge: "Uncaught exception: NSInternalInconsistencyException Strange editor field is not NSTextView. (Quit) (Continue)" what on earth?? i also saw this dialogue when i experimentally tried to send a file to a online buddy: "Uncaught exception: NSRangeException *** -[NSCFArray objectAtIndex:]: index (0) beyond bounds (0) (quit) (continue)" i am baffled. i would think a clean install of x.2.2 would fix this since it reinstalled that app. are there pref files i can destroy?
