As of a couple of weeks ago, I'd had many TiBooks (for short times, relatively) without a single paint problem. My guess is that the problem is more likely to show up after some time.

But now I have a Ti 800 with the paint 'bubbling' problem and I'm rather shocked. It's very significant and that computer was well treated. So it's not an everyday thing, but I guess it can hit anyone unexpectedly.
