If they want to sell - they have to keep on "dancing". they also have to compete with other non-mac laptops. Having said that - unless you are in a business where any speed bumping directly affects your "bottom line" - I wouldn't worry about it. I got an 800 MHz Ti PB in July and, based on past experience with my computers, I anticipate getting about 4-5 years of productive use from it. Best, Henry
