According to Rick Banuelos: >Other than that, the powerbooks are pretty much the same. ;) > >Rick Ha ha ha... I'm on the earlier one, no wonder most people look at me oddly when i gripe about screen redraws, spanned-monitor division of VRAM, blah blah blah... but leaving out audio in, in the first place? that was all the way retarded. Good thing there's MIDI, software sampling, and 3rd-party A/D stuff, etc. Apple was too concerned with how to use bluetooth to start the microwave, check the oil, control the iPod remotely [as if that makes any practical sense], to remember the basics. "Basics" like the Finder, a System prefs that can remember stuff, a 'truly' global alert volume setting [that can over-ride apps that hjave no AlertVolume control AND that remembers itself from reboot to reboot]...General settings ['Open New Window in Column view'] that actually govern 'all' folders [including MouseOver spring-loaded, and 'Show contents of package', etc]. oops, a rant ~flipper
