Hey Shawn, can you help us out here.  My attempts at reaching Apple 
folk who will respond to an issue has been unsuccessful for the most 
part, over the years. Do they have an ombudsman for customer service, 
retail ops, etc...  I would be happy to make my concerns known to 
Apple rather than simply kvetch on the list... though kvetching is 
cathartic ;-)
