[Ti] OT - SonyEricsson T68i

Sorry for the off-topic post...

I just got a T68i to replace my beloved but dying T39m. Does anybody 
have any advice about charging the battery for the first/second/... 
time. The guy at the store said that the first time I should leave it 
plugged in for 16 hours in order for it to reach its optimized level of 
charge. He mentionned also something about the second and third time 
you recharge it, but I forgot what!

Any tips appreciated!
